Tyler D.

Trainer

Tyler’s training journey began right here at Bohemian K9 when she was just 16 years old. After rescuing her Australian Cattle Dog mix, Lucy, Tyler poured her energy into understanding and improving Lucy’s behavior—and in the process, discovered a deep love for the training process itself. What started as a personal project quickly evolved into a passion for competitive obedience and a wide range of dog sports.

Together, Tyler and Lucy have earned a growing list of accomplishments, including titles in AKC Rally Novice, multiple levels of AKC Trick Dog, CGC, CGCA, CGCU, VHMA, Beginner Novice (with three 1st-place finishes), French Ring CSAU, IGP BH, and WDA FO. They’re currently pursuing even more, with ongoing work in AKC, IGP tracking, and other advanced disciplines.

True to the Bohemian K9 philosophy, Tyler only teaches what she’s personally titled in. She continues to expand her knowledge through hands-on experience, workshops, seminars, and trialing with Lucy. Her future goals include raising a new working dog and exploring the sport of French Ring at higher levels.

When she’s not training, Tyler works as a Critical Care Registered Nurse—bringing the same calm focus, compassion, and problem-solving mindset to her work with both dogs and people.
